In an attempt to resolve this, I used Command R Utility to completely erase the hard drive and then created a bootable SONOMA installation thumb drive. MacBookPro18,3 updated fine via software update. ![]() M1 2020 MBP updated fine via software update. Same issue here, I don't have exact model numbers as I'm getting this information second hand from technicians.
